The term is commonly used in different contexts like women empowerment, employee empowerment etc.
Employee empowerment is an important concept for an HR Manager.
The organisations are working to empower their employees by giving them more liberty and more space.
Considering privacy as employee’s right, providing an option to work from home, providing a choice of the area of work etc. are all examples of employee empowerment.
The benefit of following such policies is that the employees are happier and hence leads to higher satisfaction and lesser attrition.
