With so much happening around the world many candidates in niche industries are waiting on starting at a new job. This has become a common theme that I am seeing within the tech sector. Either the candidate has been furloughed and are actively searching or they are passively waiting. Majority of my reqs that I’m supporting require a certain amount of experience in software development. Experienced candidates seemed to be more passive.

Talking with other recruiters I’ve identified some key things everyone should be doing in order to get the best results from their passive recruiting
