🌐 Mine “Project Signals” on LinkedIn and Job Portals
💡 Don’t rely only on job titles. Look for active project signals across LinkedIn and job portals to identify candidates who are closer to a move.
How to do it:🕵️
LinkedIn
Scan profiles for ongoing or recently completed projects, implementations, pilots, rollouts Use keywords like “implemented,” “go-live,” “phase 2,” “migration,” “transformation” Check recent posts, comments, and profile updates (last 30–60 days)
Job Portals
➡️ Review resumes mentioning current or recent projects ➡️ Search within project descriptions, not just skills ➡️ Filter profiles updated in the last 7/15/30 days ➡️ Look for candidates adding new project outcomes or achievements
✅ Why it works:
Candidates actively working on or closing projects are often evaluating their next challenge, making outreach more timely and relevant.
