🔎 Sourcing Tip – Day 65
Use Boolean Search with Google’s “Numrange” Operator
Google’s numrange operator (..) can help you filter candidates by graduation year, experience, or certifications. For example:
“Mechanical Engineer” “resume” “Pune” 2015..2020 → Finds resumes mentioning graduation years between 2015 and 2020.
“AWS Certified” “resume” “India” 3..7 years → Surfaces profiles mentioning experience between 3 to 7 years.
💡 This is especially powerful for narrowing down freshers, mid-level, or experienced talent pools quickly. ✅ Combine with site:linkedin.com/in or site:github.com for sharper targeting.
⚠️ Caution: This works only when numbers (like years or experience) are mentioned in the text. If not explicitly stated, those profiles won’t appear.
